Build 1.60.1.70790 is out (seen on Blizzard's version list ). Ranks and seasons

Every accepted upload earns points, and so does a comment other players vote helpful. Points climb the game's 14 PvP ranks, from Private and Scout to Grand Marshal and High Warlord, and you keep each rank you reach. Each season has a bar of its own.

What earns points

Four kinds, one number. Points come from accepted uploads, counted from the moment Zephras receives the upload, and from helpful comments.

  • First finds: something no upload to Zephras had before. It shows as waiting for a second player until another, independent player sends the same thing, and pays then.
  • Confirmations: something another player found first. Each counts once for you.
  • Kills, loot, and catches: small, with a cap, so farming one spot adds little.
  • Helpful comments: a published comment of yours that reaches 10 more up than down votes from other, independent players earns 10 points, once for each comment. It counts in the season in which it reaches the mark. Votes otherwise only sort the comments.

Ranks

Zephras ranks are the game's own PvP ranks, with their badges and the names each side gives them. Your rank goes up as your points add up, and never goes down.

The hours are the play it took one player's real uploads to earn the points when Zephras already had everything they found (worked out on 19 October 2026). First finds earn more. Each rank's page says what the rank means in the game.

Seasons

During a season, your points also fill a season bar that starts at zero. Your all-time rank stays as it is. A first find counts in the season in which a second player confirms it.

  • Launch season: from 5 November 2026, 03:00 to 19 November 2026, 03:00 (Dubai time, UTC+04:00).

Where your rank shows

  • Your account page: your rank bars, what earned your points, and the points each upload earned.
  • The Zephras Uploader (from version 0.12.0): your rank's badge and number on its Account tab, and on its Account screen the rank's names, how far the next rank is, your points, and the season.
  • In game, with the Zephras Collector 1.7.0 and the uploader: point at the minimap button for your rank and, while a season runs, your season rank; the Zephras panel's Rank tab shows your rank as the game's PvP rank window does, with its badge and a ring to the next rank. Ranks take your character's side's names, and show your standing as of your last upload before you logged in or typed /reload.
  • A public profile, if you turn it on there: your name, your rank bars, and your totals. NPC pages you recorded first then say "First recorded by" you.
  • The Zephras Discord: your rank as a role, once you link Discord on your account page.

Fair counting

  • A first find pays only when an independent player sends the same thing.
  • Accounts that share a network address or a copy of the addon count as one player: they cannot confirm each other's finds, and a find or confirmation pays once for all of them. Linked Battle.net logins are one account.
  • Kills, loot, and catches have caps, and count only for the upload that sent them first.
  • On comments, votes count once for all accounts that count as one player, never from the author's own accounts, and only from accounts at least a week old. The points stand while the comment's votes stay at the mark, and a comment pays only once however many votes it gets.

How players are told apart is on the privacy page.
