Legacy calculator

The account-wide Legacy trees: Professions, Adventure, Resourcefulness. You buy their perks with Legacy Points. The trees, ranks, and texts come from the WoW Forever game files, build 1.60.1.70450.

Choose a perk to see its text, its rank, and what it still needs here.

Click a perk to buy a rank; right-click (or Shift-click) to take it back; Undo takes back your last change. On a touch screen, tap a perk and use its buttons. The link keeps your plan, and this browser keeps your last plan.

How Legacy Points work

  • The game says: "You can spend up to your current seasonal cap of 16 Legacy Points in total." In this build's files the cap is 16; the 21 perks have 69 ranks in all, so a plan picks a few.
  • Every rank of every perk costs 1 Legacy Point.
  • 11 perks open only after you spend 5 Legacy Points in their own tree: Master Chef, Bartering, Performance Bonus, Luremaster, High Alert, Talented, Field Guide, Field Medicine, For Great Honor, Permanence, Diplomat.
  • 3 perks open only after you spend 10 Legacy Points in their own tree: Dedicated Study, Frequent Flier, Reagent Economy.
  • A perk an arrow points to also needs the perk at the arrow's start. The game files call that perk sufficient to open it; this calculator asks for it at full rank, as the class talent trees do. Check it in the game before you spend.
  • The squares marked "Unknown" are places the game keeps for later perks ("To be added in a future update."); they cannot be bought yet.
  • Talented (5 ranks) makes your talent points start at a lower level on every character; plan it with the class talent calculators, whose "Legacy: Talented" box shows what it changes.
  • Each rank's text is the game's own, with that rank's values from the game files.
